The Great DaneGerous

Gus Hansen is one of the most admired poker players in the world today, and his popularity
plus his uniquely daring style made him a perfect choice as a model for ProBot conversion.

Hansen’s style and personality were downloaded into its new robotic body and the first thing the technicians noticed was that it was mumbling to itself. They eventually figured out that the Great DaneGerous was trying to take notes on its new environment, new body, and the technicians themselves, following its model’s penchant for doing the same thing during a major poker tournament. To facilitate this they attached a voice recorder directly to the ProBot’s chest, and now DaneGerous has the means to record and review each and every encounter.

At the table this ProBot will consistently switch up its game in order to keep its opponents off guard, routinely taking great risks for great reward. When things turn ugly and the fists begin to fly, DaneGerous uses his head… in more ways than one.

In addition to giving it a great head for numbers the ProBot designers gave the DaneGerous a head for battle, mostly as a club. A head butt from the reinforced cranium of this ProBot will stun the hardiest of opponents.

Poker Advantages: The Great DaneGerous is the most reckless of the models when it comes to poker; at least, that is the way it seems. Its fluid approach to calculating odds and constant analysis of current and past play allows ProBot Hansen to reap big rewards with little actual risk.

Poker Disadvantages: Because it has developed a reputation for taking chances with any two cards other players will take bigger risks to confront the Great DaneGerous . This sometimes limits its ability to bluff.

Favored Weapon: Great DaneGerous uses fists to settle the score when the rumble begins, but always looks for an opportunity to get his head into the game. The large, ridged noggin cracks and splinters opponents with the effectiveness of a jackhammer.

Special: Perhaps the biggest asset in the Great DaneGerous' arsenal is its ability to absorb information and apply it. While it is possible to learn its style and anticipate it, in the long run DaneGerous will wind up surprising his opponents in an often costly manner.
