When the ProBot Project was first tested, the AI program meant to emulate Phil “Poker Brat” Hellmuth was loaded into a robot body and placed at a table to play against a technician. When the nameless tech called a big pre flop raise holding deuce queen off suit and then proceeded to call to the river, he scored a full boat to suck out the robot’s pocket aces. He suffered fifteen broken bones in the ensuing tantrum. The table did not survive.
Celebrity Poker Deathmatch was born.
The Hellmouth is a towering machine that alternates between quiet concentration and petulant whining at the table, and employs a chain of linked WSOP bracelets as a preferred weapon in battle. It also enjoys pointing out that its chain of bracelets is much longer than any other ProBot’s.
Poker Advantages: When the game is a No Limit Hold’em Tournament, there is no one better than The Hellmouth; his vast knowledge of the game and keen insight have lead to more victories in this format than anyone in history.
Poker Disadvantages: The Hellmouth is susceptible to risky moves that pay off; not only do they hurt his chip stack, they hurt his pride. This in turn puts him on tilt, which has a negative impact on his game.
Favored Weapon: Besides the Self Promotion? The WSOP “Chain of Pain” made from all of his victory bracelets (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) is The Hellmouth’s favored method of laying the smack down.
Special: The Chain of Pain is stored in the ProBot’s abdomen, where it builds up an electrical charge. When the chain is retrieved the ProBot’s “Hellmouth” is revealed, a gaping, toothed maw capable of decapitating any luckless ProBot (or railbird) that gets too close.
